Reggie is an extremely loving and
affectionate miniature bull terrier mix, about a year old, who was
rescued by The Buddy Project for Animal Rescue from a kill shelter
when his time was up.
Reggie LOVES other dogs, and you'd think that wouldn't be the case
with a dog whom we've been told might have been attacked by dogs
at a young age (because of scars on his head). This young boy has
been through a lot in his short life, but he still trusts people
and other animals whole-heartedly. He is also living with a cat in
his foster home also, and he has no interest in her.
Reggie is also good with kids, but because he is still a puppy, he
can be mouthy (likes to chew when he plays) so a home with
children must be supervised by an adult who knows how to supervise
dogs with children. We won't rule him out for a home with children
because he is such a great boy and with the right owners, he will
be great with everyone.
As for Reggie's special need... About a month ago, Reggie's left
eye became very irritated and it was determined that he had
secondary glaucoma and needed to have the eye removed. The vet
thinks this condition was caused by a trauma suffered earlier in
his life. Reggie does fine with one eye, but he is still getting
used to losing sight on one side and he sometimes bumps into
things! :( His good eye is doing fine but must be watched and
checked by the vet every few months.
Reggie is neutered and up to date on his shots. He is a very
special boy and will only go to a home that is going to love him
for the rest of his life, so please email his foster mom at:

if you are seriously interested in this
great little guy!
