Have A Heart receives "Emergency Adoption Requests"  from rescue groups and concerned citizens. Usually, someone has been trying to help a pet find a home and the pet's allotted time in the shelter has "run out" and is going to be euthanized. In other cases perhaps a group or person adopted a pet to save it from being euthanized and needs to find it a home.
